Proposed Dictionary Definitions: Gravity & SPUE
Gravity[1] - An attractive force between any two masses. (mechanism unknown). (Newton, 1666)
Gravity[2] - A tendency of two objects to move closer together. (mechanism: objects will move closer together due to reduced pressure caused by each other's "shadow" in the ubiquitous rain storm of Sub-sub-sub-atomic Particles Universally Emancipated (SPUE) from all forms of matter/energy in an infinite universe.) (Weissmüller, April 7, 2004)
"SPUE" (Sub-sub-sub-atomic Particles Universally Emancipated) is NOT a fundamental particle. In a totally recursive universe, every particle is potentially a galaxy at a different level -- SPUE defines a RELATIVE perspective from observers accept the fact that the CAUSE of the action is below their currently accepted technology's ability to detect.
Light, for example, as a source of information has its limitations. In SPUE Theory, "light" is composed of a binary pair of SPUE, where its "frequency" is determined by its rotational rate as it passes any observer. Human observers only detect (i.e. see/measure) SPUE as "light" when the SPUE passes them "at the speed of light." SPUE travels at all speeds and the "speed of light" is a limitation on the "observer," not on the SPUE itself. "Red Shift" in astrophysics is caused by a slowing down of that rotational speed of a binary pair and is related to DISTANCE as well as rate-of-distance change.
New Note from 16 Jan 2006: (After reading The Final Theory)
In addition to slowing-down, the rotating pairs may "grow" by accreting more material as the pair traverses the distance between the source and the observer.
