Occam's Razor versus Johnny's SHAVER
It all depends on how you look at it... unless there are measurable differences.

SPUE Theory eliminates "action at a distance" and the need for the constructs of matter/anti-matter, dark matter, curved space-time, positive-negative charges and superstrings.
I realized, however, that sometimes there are TWO (or more) "right" answers. A single measurable effect could be caused by any one of several sets of antecedents. Perhaps we should consider augmenting Occam's razor with the 21st Century perspective known as "Johnny's SHAVER" (Several Heterogeneous Antecedents with Virtually Equivalent Results).
"Waves on a lake" are my standard example for why Johnny's SHAVER is necessary. Waves may be caused by downdrafts over the water -- running towards the shore during the day. Waves may also be caused by passing boats, kid's throwing rocks or even tsunamis (underwater earthquakes) - not to mention the twice daily waves called "tides."
With Johnny's SHAVER - a wave in the water may have a number of "unrelated" causes that result in the same "apparent" phenomena. According to Johnny's SHAVER finding the "truth" for the cause of a phenomena DOES NOT automatically exclude or "prove wrong" alternative explanations as is implied by Occam's Razor.
When Johnny's SHAVER is true, it means that you need to investigate deeper. Occam's Razor is still valid in the sense that multiple macroscopic "causes" may, in fact, have a single underlying microscopic mechanism. Because of Johnny's SHAVER, demonstrating ONE CAUSE for a phenomena DOES NOT "prove" that other explanations are necessarily WRONG.
Consider "WAVES on a Lake" for an example of why Johnny's SHAVER is sometimes important.
